Happy Halloween!!!

Have a great and safe Halloween Everyone!

Today we spent the day in the city center of Guilin, we ran into our Chinese English friend his name is Chang Dan. He spent the majority of the day with us today. We had lunch duck, lady fish (some kind of white steamed fish) and rice noodles.

Here you see one of the main streets here.

Then we walked around and went to the silk factory and bought a silk comforter and duvet cover. Rey says it was too much money. It was less here in Guilin then in Beijing a difference of $200 dollars. Here you see Rey holding two cocoons, one small one that has one worm inside and it is used for silk clothes and the large one has two worms and this is used to make comforters.

Then in the next picture you see two loops, the first small one they place 8 of the large cocoons to make one layer, and then they transfer it to the big loop and add 10 layers. It takes 80 cocoons to make a silk comforter.

We then went to a Chinese medical doctor were we had a foot massage 50 yuen which was $7 dollars each, but it was not just for the feet. They gave us a massage on the feet, the legs and shoulders. This was awesome!!
Here they are giving Rey a massage on the legs, I am having one too sitting right next to him. Not the best angle!

Then back to the hotel, we will will attend a Chinese acrobatic show.
