Notary Office

Today we went to the notary office to pick up Mei Lin’s Documents. 3 copies of the following:
Mei Lin’s birth certificates, abandonment certificate and our adoption papers.

Rey did not go with us as he is sick and has not been feeling well. The day has been miserable. Just like London weather, overcastted, raining and fog. We did not leave the hotel today because of the weather only to pick up the documents. Here are some pictures of our cocoon (the hotel room).

Here we are on our first day, trying to figure out whos who??

Here is Mei Lin, I took her, her 1st bath and Rey dryed her & put on her PJ's and she fell asleep with the towel and here she is Drinking her milk.

Daddy and Mei Lin. The first 2 days it was all about Mommy and now she is bonding with Daddy.
Mei Lin eating her Teething Biscuit or as Daddy would say her dog biscuit. The teething biscuits look like the bones that you give the dogs. Only daddy!

Here Mei Lin fell asleep with the towel in her mouth. Her foster mother said that she likes to chew on the towel after her bath as it sooths her teeth. She has four bottom teeth and 3 on the top and one more on the way.

As each day pass she is getting used to us both, not just me being the women figure. She was close to her foster mother. Her Foster mother says that she is very clever, several times and does not like men too much.

Mei Lin has a very good appetite eats rice, chicken, potatoes, bread, cake, cheerios, cookies, grapes (the purple ones with out the skin and seeds), oranges and banana.

When we bought the stroller on Monday she did not like the stroller and gave us a fuss them we put her in, but as each day passes she is getting used to that too.

She makes a sound mamaaa and baaa. In Chinese mother is mama and father is baba.

Tomorrow we go to pick up her passport and visa.
